Dr. Wolf earned his DVM degree from Ohio State University in 1968. In 1973, he became the first veterinarian in the comparative ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Medical College, where his research focused on retinal diseases and cataracts.
Dr. Wolf earned his Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 1976 and he is a past president of the ACVO.
He has been a faculty member of veterinary colleges at both University of Florida and Ohio State University and has authored numerous articles for scientific journals and textbooks.
